Jack White’s estranged wife Karen Elson has obtained a restraining order against the rocker over allegations he has targeted her with angry emails.

The couple parted ways in 2011 after six years of marriage, but the British model/singer revealed they had remained close friends for the sake of their two kids, Scarlett and Henry Lee.

However, last month she requested a protection order to keep the White Stripes star away from her, insisting his temper was out of control and that he had bombarded her with aggressive emails.

Elson also claimed she feared for her own safety, as well as the safety of her children, reports TMZ.

A judge in Tennessee granted the order and banned White from making “any contact with wife whatsoever except as it relates to parenting time with the parties’ minor children.”

A hearing regarding custody of their kids will be held on Aug. 29.
