The Who want your bootleg recordings

LOOKIN' FOR LOST STUFF: The Who will give two VIP tickets to a show on their next tour to the person with the most outstanding find. Members of the group, from left to right, are Keith Moon, Pete Townshend, Roger Daltrey and John Entwistle in July 1978.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — The Who probably would not have appreciated anyone who bootlegged their concerts back in the day but now they want those recordings.

The Who have put out a call to fans and collectors for rare and lost recordings of the band throughout their 50-year career.

They’re looking for home movies, rare radio and TV appearances, demos, unusual photos, bootlegs and memorabilia.

A 1964 film of an early version of the band, The High Numbers, recently was discovered in a loft in the Netherlands.

The Who will give two VIP tickets to a show on their next tour to the person with the most outstanding find.

Any material used will get proper credit.
