Foo Fighters perform comeback gig at pizza joint

Foo Fighters thrilled fans in California on Monday by playing a surprise comeback gig in a pizza restaurant.

Dave Grohl’s band, which has been out of the spotlight since last year, returned by playing at the Redballs Rock & Roll Pizza joint in Moorpark for a crowd of around 200 people.

The band’s drummer Taylor Hawkins had been booked to perform at the venue with his band Chevy Metal, and fans were surprised to see a full set from the Foo Fighters instead.

Foo Fighters will play two gig gigs in Mexico City, Mexico later this week.
