UPDATE: Surveillance video released from Rite Aid robbery in Ithaca

UPDATE 3/10, 9:15 a.m.:

Surveillance photos and video show the suspects wanted in connection with a robbery at a Rite Aid Pharmacy in Ithaca over the weekend.

The armed robbery happened after 6 p.m. Saturday at the pharmacy on Pine Tree Road.

Surveillance video released today shows the suspects entering the pharmacy with their faces covered.

Another video shows one of the suspects climbing over a pharmacy counter with a gun in his hand.

Investigators will still only say that the suspects took an unknown amount of controlled substances from the pharmacy.

Surveillance video from the store was released through the Tompkins County Sheriff Department’s Facebook page on Monday morning.


The search is on for two suspects who police say robbed the Rite-Aid Pharmacy on Pine Tree Road in Ithaca Saturday night.

Sheriff’s department officials say the men walked into the pharmacy around 6 p.m. They say both men displayed a handgun during the robbery.

The men stole an “unknown amount of controlled substances,” according to the sheriff’s department. No injuries were reported.

The suspects were last seen fleeing the area on Pine Tree Road in a light or white-colored SUV.

One suspect is described as six feet tall, and wearing a black jacket with a green hood, and black pajama pants. The second suspect was wearing a black jacket with khaki pants. Both were wearing masks.
