Suspect in Ithaca shooting turns himself in

Clifton McBean, 22, of Ithaca, faces three felony counts in connection with a shooting Monday night in Ithaca/Provided by Ithaca Police

An Ithaca man wanted in connection with a shooting Monday night has turned himself in to police.

22-year-old Clifton McBean allegedly shot another man twice at around 7:30 Monday night near the intersection of South Plain Street and Cleveland Avenue.

Police say McBean turned himself in to the Ithaca Police Department at around 2 p.m. Thursday.

He faces 3 felony charges, including 2 counts of criminal possession of a weapon and one count of reckless endangerment.

More charges are likely pending.
