The top aide to Governor Andrew Cuomo has agreed to meet with federal prosecutors over concerns regarding an anti-corruption commission in Albany.

The Wall Street Journal reports that Larry Schwartz agreed to meet with officials in the U.S. Attorney’s office in Manhattan.

The lead prosecutor of that office, Preet Bharara, has warned that an investigation of the governor could happen, as concerns surfaced that Cuomo aides stopped the commission from investigating groups with ties to the governor.

The Cuomo administration has denied any wrongdoing regarding the commission, which was broken up by the governor earlier this year.
