Ithaca Police are looking into reports of shots fired early Saturday morning at the West Village Apartments.

Police responded to Abbott Lane at the apartments just before 12:30 a.m. Saturday, after multiple calls to 911 of shots fired.

Police say they couldn’t find anyone who may have been connected to the incident, but say they talked to multiple people who heard gunshots, and saw a number of men running from the scene.

No suspects have been identified in connection with the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call Ithaca Police at 272-9973, or the department’s crime stoppers tipline at 697-0333.
