John T. Nolan, 60, of Newfield, was arrested Thursday on a DWI charge after his car caught on fire when he tried to drive with flat tires.A 60-year-old Newfield man faces DWI charges after he got into an accident and attempted to drive his car with flat tires.

State police responded to State Route 327 in Enfield Thursday after they got a report of a car on fire.

An investigation determined that 60-year-old John T. Nolan had been in an accident and tried to drive his car on flat tries, only to have his car eventually catch on fire.


Nolan was issued tickets to appear in the Town of Enfield Court on September 15, 2014.
