Police are searching for a suspect involved in a stabbing early Sunday morning on Ithaca’s South Hill.

Around 12:45 a.m., police got a call about a person who had been stabbed in the 300 block of Hillview Place.

According to police, the victim did not know who stabbed him.

Police say there were several hundred people in the area at the time of the stabbing, but no one could provide enough information for police to get a description of the suspect.

Investigators, however, are looking for a Chrysler 300 sedan, either grey or light blue, but haven’t said anything about possible links to the suspect.

Police would only say that the victim was transported to a regional trauma center, but have not provided an update on his condition.
