FLLT gets state funding for conservation

Governor Cuomo has announced $1.4 millionĀ in conservation grants for 50 nonprofit land trusts across the state.

The DEC and the Land Trust Alliance unveiled the grants Thursday, one of which will go to the Finger Lakes Land Trust, which has preserved hundreds of acres of land in the area.

The Finger Lakes Land Trust has received a capacity grant worth $26,000.
