Investigators in Cortland County want to know who dumped a used one-pot meth lab on the side of Route 11 in Polkville on Thursday.

Deputies got a call around 2:45 p.m. from someone riding a bike, who spotted a suspicious bottle along the roadway, near the intersection with Weaver Road.

Deputies quickly confirmed that it was a spent one-pot, which was used to make meth. A State Police team was called in to remove the bottle from the area.

Anyone with information should contact the Cortland County Sheriff’s Department at 758-6151.

The department is also reminding people to call their nearest police agency if they come across a bottle or package that looks suspicious.
