Benefit planned for Simeon’s, Cornell Barbershop staff

A benefit event is planned for those affected by the tragic accident that occurred on the Commons on June 20.

The event is being organized by city officials and will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. at Stewart Park.

It will benefit Simeon’s staff, tenants and the workers at Cornell Barber Shop. More details can be found here.

A memorial service is also planned for 27-year-old Amanda Bush of Lansing, who was killed in the crash. It will take place 2 p.m. Monday at the Lake Watch Inn.
