A trailer has been released for an upcoming documentary on legendary New York glam rock act Twisted Sister. According to Vintage Vinyl News, the film, called Twisted F***ing Sister, chronicles the band’s entire career from playing clubs in the suburbs around New York City to being pelted with bottles at England’s Reading Festival. The film also touches on efforts by both club owners and the band’s label to have them tone down their outrageous look.

  • Filmmaker Andrew Horn has spent five years working on the film, raising funds at one point through an Indiegogo campaign.
  • There is no release date yet for the film.
  • The original lineup of Twisted Sister still tours infrequently in full makeup and costume and is next scheduled to play in New York City on September 5th.
